GREEN RULES FOR SURVIVAL

Green rules for survival

It is a reality, plastic pollutes more than we thought. Every day, beaches, rivers and lakes are contaminated with plastic trash. We are a society comfortable, plastic containers make our lives easier. However, we do great harm to the environment. Plastic containers take thousands of years to degrade. Pollute our soil and groundwater. The industry invests in plastic containers because of its low cost. Low cost and great damage to nature. Accustomed to the people to consume massive plastic containers. In El Salvador people not in the habit of separating plastics for recycling. Making it more expensive and more complicated the process of recycling plastic.
El Salvador is a country vulnerable to climate change and global warming, however it is not customary to use biodegradable packaging . The industry does not like to take paper packaging for their products, thus, the production cost rises. Even there the myth that don´t let the use streamlined of recycled-paper in the industry.
While the industry does not accept the use of recycled paper, Salvadorans will continue to pollute the beaches and the Gulf of Fonseca.
